Artistic tile-add beauty and style, the last a lifetime

I was in the middle of renovating the bathroom when I look at a proposed artistic tile.

Now I had no clue what the "artistic" was spread, but Julie went after me, and said that she saw some amazing bathrooms with this type of tile.

I told her, look at it, but it would have to steer me in the right direction.

Artistic tile is one of a kind

Julie is the type of person who loves to be different, and a new vision for my bathroom to be in the same way. (Julie does not like to do something with someone else!)

She explained this spread consists of a number of different materials including glass, porcelain or porcelain. The beauty of the tile from tile are hand-made, hand painted by Potter or artist, performing all original tile.

Yes, said Julie artistic tile can be expensive since it is so very much. This tile is anywhere one would normally put a tile, kitchen, bathrooms, entryways, foyers, floors and walls.

Julie also explained that these tiles are glazed and fired last a lifetime. They will not go away or rinsed. Then, after the investment is good for life, artistic tile of the House.

Select entire rooms or only one tile accents

I explained to Julie that my very good budget, with artistic tiles sounds expensive!

But Julie told me that the budget is totally me. She said yes, it can be expensive to do the entire bathroom tile is hand-drawn by the artist. However, she said, you can place as many tiles as artistic accents here and there.

"You will still be the unique aspect of the tile in the bathtub," she said, "but only a few accent tiles, the cost will be manageable – and washing-up of type!"

Where can I find the artistic tile?

We have the following problem to deal with was exactly where we are going to see artistic tile?

If you live near a large urban area, it is enough that you can walk into the bathroom tile, see some of the tiles are designed by artists. Many of them are luxurious boutique type of showrooms, so ready to see price tags.

But what if you live in the country or region where no tile showrooms artistic? Then take advantage of the world wide web!

In fact, you can see a number of different artistic tiles on the Web, many artists are trying to break into the industry in creating their art exhibition websites.

The Internet is the perfect place to start even if you live near a metro area, as the artists ' Web sites can give you a good idea as the colors, styles, mediums available. Remember that you can create ceramic tiles, glass or porcelain. You may find that the best application for your bathroom remodel glass tile. Or, you may find that the best application for the opening in the back of the kitchen will be ceramic.

You may see something on the Internet to take your creative juices "fire!" If nothing else, shopping online for artistic tiles will provide a place to start your imagination.

What do you expect to pay for artistic tile?

Well, in a nutshell, a lot. Remember that the stone art, handmade, usually hand-drawn, so a lot of work is required for each tile. Many tile showrooms did not list their prices online, so you may need to read them.

However, you can find artists who are just starting their activities in a tile. Artists often charge less for their work. Don't be afraid to search online on the way down to Google's search listings. Read pages 13, 14, 15, 20, and so on. I find one Potter who registered that one tile, hand-drawn 6 x 6 inches, ready to hang, run $22. This artist also listed the same tile with frame (as in the picture) on $ 38 each.

Of course, you must select to mural or other large space with artistic tile, so your cost will increase accordingly.

So how did complete my bathroom remodel? Julie and I became a small tiles, tiles 3-5 tiles (18 inches by 30 inches) to use one wall, and then how we spread out the bath tiles accent to mark the tiles. Total cost was about 500 tiles and installation.

And how much I love her? I love it! Each time a very fashionable walking into the bathroom, I enjoyed the vibrant colours and unique look. Above all, I know that I enjoy my new bath for decades to come, if ever I decide to sell my house, I have added the style and eye-sure to resonate with the buyer.

And all from a few artistic tiles!
